A tale of two quotes:

One question I cannot stand:
“Do women like [object/situation/experience]?”
I had to explain to a friend the other day that women aren’t the Borg, that we don’t share one giant brain and we can’t communicate telepathically, and so I can’t really say for sure if women like the colour purple or how we feel about feet or whatever.
I feel like I have to explain this a lot.
You mean we don’t all share the same giant brian? Well… this is news to me.
Okay, that was the single best typo of all time.
We don’t share one giant brain, but we do share one giant Brian. He is lovely, men are really missing out.

when people ask me why I love Obama so much I kind of just stare at them blankly
That’s our usual reaction too.

Woman:Can I have birth control?
-
Government:No.
-
Woman:I got pregnant because I didn't have birth control and I don't want the fetus. Can I have an abortion?
-
Government:No.
-
Woman:I gave birth to my child but since I wasn't expecting it, I can't afford daycare. Can I have help paying for it?
-
Government:No.
-
Woman:Well, why can't I have birth control?
-
Government:Because. Sex isn't for recreation.
-
Woman:It can help regulate my period and benefit me in other ways.
-
Government:Too bad.
-
Man:For no reason other than for recreational sex, may I have birth control?
-
Government:Do you have a penis?
-
Man:YES, YES I DO!!
-
Government:WELL HOWDY, VALID CITIZEN. You can buy condoms by the dozens. Here, here's a pack of special condom for "His Pleasure." Oooh, these come in different colours and flavours. Here, try these. They have ribs on them. And this one glows in the dark!! LOL OMG DICK LIGHTSABER!!
-
Government:But seriously, you're a man. You can do what ever you want.
-
Woman:But-
-
Government:Shut up, you sinning, freeloading hussy.

This happened in mexico, please reblog!
submission from didistarfish:

This video is about Nicole , a mexican woman reporting to the mexican authorities in Mexico City that a man in the apartment building in front of hers has been harrassing her, masturbating in his window while peeping into her apartment, calling her attention while he masturbated in his parking lot where she could see him, also verbally harrassing her comenting on her physical appearance when she goes out. The mexican authorities told her that nothing can be done unless he physicly harms her. So what is she supossed to do!? what are we supossed to do!? The comments by men in this video are victim blaming, they tell her that she probably likes it, that it’s her fault, even that she is making it up for attention because she is ugly( she godammed isn’t), she is noticeably scared and upset. We Mexicans already know that we cannot trust our authorities, but I don’t even… WHAT THE FUCK!!!

My name is Kelly Schomburg, I’m the girl with the red hair in these pictures. I was protesting at the Occupy Wall Street march yesterday when I and several other women were sprayed with mace and subsequently arrested. Many have already seen the video, which has been spreading like wildfire over twitter, Facebook, tumblr, and other video feeds, along with hundreds of other photos and videos. This is my recount of what happened.
