This one was funnnn c: Some idiot debating me on the video "Ron Paul - 30% of people who watch this whole video change their vote"
-
I do realize it's long, but this one just doesn't know how to shut up when they're wrong. I love when people bother with me =D So for those of you that love to see me gobble up idiots, enjoy ^_^
-
Moron:I love this video [friend] i literally cry every time i see it
-
Not Sure If Moron Yet:I know right? Its so great to show people why Ron Paul should be the new president, no questions asked. If he doesn't win I am gonna start planning to go to canada lol
-
Moron:Me too lol
-
Me:100% of voters whom aren't racist change their votes after reading his newsletters
-
Moron:[long comment with no thought put into it what so ever, deleted before documentation]
-
Moron:Get educated kid!!! Good job Ashley!!!!! Go ron Paul!!!!!
-
Me:lol Yes he didn't write them but he signed his name on them and approved them to be published under his name. Riiight. Sarcasm's right over my head. My gonna vote. [in response to the deleted statement of "your gonna vote for a homophobe"] I assume you're speaking of Obama? That's why he repealed DADT. And if you're so worried about voting for a homophobe, perhaps you should do some research on Paul before voting for him. Or better yet, I'll make it easy for you. Read this:

-
Yes, I indeed should educate myself.
-
!!!11!!one!!!
-
Me:lol Good job deleting your comment Ms. [moron's last name]. I wont delete mine though. Sorry you bothered with me. Arguing with me is like picking a fist fight with someone who kills people for fun.
-
Moron:Why do you go on other people's Facebook pages and harass them for their beliefs???? That's ignorance we didn't go on your page and talk shit about what you believe in.it's best to keep your mouth shut when it comes to these topics appearently
-
Me:It was on my newsfeed. I didn't go onto your facebook wall, I went onto [mutual friend]'s as did you. Even if I was "attacking" you for your "beliefs", ie if I were to say that being gay is wrong, that still wouldn't be ignorance. Ignorance is the lack of knowledge, not the refusal to change one's opinion. Frankly, you not knowing of Paul's stance on two issues that you appear to feel strongly about is ignorance. It's best to be an informed voter, which you evidently are not. Sooo good on that.
-
Me:See also: debating me on matters of fact is a really bad idea considering I toy around with debating stances on opinions that I don't agree with for entertainment.
-
Moron:So what 2 issues am I incorrect about?
-
Moron:Sounds like you got santorum on your face
-
Moron:Google santorum haha
-
Me:1) Obama's stance on homophobia. Indeed in the beginning of his first term he stated that he was still deliberating the issue, but that is to be expected of such a complicated topic. There are many things to be considered. His actions and statements later in his term cleared up any questions about which side he chose, that being anti homophobia. Also a part of this, you think Paul is either pro same-sex marriage or neutral. You didn't specify which, but I'll assume it's one of those two because you claim he's better than Obama on that issue. Either way, you were wrong because he is most certainly anti gay, as proved by that link.
-
2) Correct me if I'm wrong, but by "get educated" you mean for me to research Paul's stance on racism, yes? As you can see, I'm very well informed of his stances on all major issues, which is why I am appalled that you two support him. Ashley, being in the audience, may change her mind after reading this. You on the other hand will probably just spend the rest of your day pissed off at me because you were wrong. Sorry, but that's a side effect of debate.
-
Me:Alas, you're behind the times on that as well because google created a new spyder which takes into consideration the practice of google-bombing. Sorry that I'm smarter than you
-
Me:But hey, at least you're not pro frothy. Have a lollipop for that. You have the political deduction of a twelve year old
-
Moron:When I said get educated I meant for you to research what a civil libertarian is,then you would know ron Paul can't be racist or homophobic. What's wrong with people being able to live a free life free from gov. Oppression?
-
Moron:It's easy to attack other people's views how bout stating your own sorry [friend] vote for whomever you believe in and your mom taught all of us kids if you don't have something nice to say don't say anything at all some people don't have respect for other people's opinions
-
Me:I can call myself a pineapple, but if I'm not a pineapple then doing so does not make me a pineapple. Same goes for Ron Paul. After reading all of that, do you really think he'll stand for civil liberty once elected?
-
Even if he does hold true to his stance, civil libertarianism doesn't work. There's a reason why our government is slow to change, which is to keep out the unnecessary or unpopular stuff. Sure, it's inconvenient that it's taking so long for same-sex marriage to be legalized, but I'd rather have that wait than have people able to pass laws over night which legalizes the killing of a certain group of people, or something insane like that, wouldn't you? Without the barriers to change, which are there intentionally, the country would succumb to anarchy. Not being able to get everything you want isn't oppression, it's a part of being an adult.
-
Me:Actually attacking other people's views is much harder. No one fights back when you state your own opinions. I do believe reading those comments above should help you deduce how I feel about popular issues. I do hope you read it and didn't just stick your fingers in your ears.
-
One more thing, if the mere mention of a challenge to your views offends you so much, perhaps it's time to reconsider your views? It doesn't seem to me like you have very solid opinions on the issue.
-
And of course she can vote for who she wants. I figured that part would be a no brainer so you'd be able to grasp it on your own
-
Moron:Apparently you think I'm a kid buuuut I'm not sorry wish I was lol wanna trade I'll be your age and you be mine:)
-
Me:I know nothing of your age, nor do I claim to know, but if you'd like me to guess using only your thought processes as a factor, I'd have to say under 25
-
Moron:Wrong sorry!!
-
Me:No, it is I whom is sorry, for I merely misjudged your age. You however displayed the intelligence of a testosterone enriched child. I do hope you fix that soon.
-
Moron:Try like 8 years older then you this isn't high-school debate class have a good day lady!!!
-
Me:lol Kind of sad that you just lost a debate to someone that you've had almost a decade longer to gather knowledge than, isn't it?
-
Moron:The debate has only begun kiddo:)
-
Me:lol if you say so, but so far I've used facts to disprove everything you've said and you've done nothing but blather on without first considering multiple factors. Typically that line is used by the person with the upper hand, which is funny because I could go on with this for as long as I want. You'll never even get part of the debate on your side
-
I love sticking around for the bit at the end where they run around like a chicken with their head off. I'll update if they come back for more =3
Libertarianism is so selfish and destructive.

- Rick Santorum: Compared health care reform to drug dealing, said it will make Christians “less than what God created you to be,” said it would “destroy the country”; compared gay relationships to “man-on-dog sex”; slammed the Supreme Court decision ensuring the right to access contraception.
- Herman Cain: The most unabashedly anti-Muslim candidate in the field (and that’s saying something!), proposed a religious test for office for Muslims who wanted to work for his administration.
- Newt Gingrich: Where to begin? Maybe with the threat of a “secular atheist country… dominated by radical Islamists.” Or with the threat of “gay and secular fascism.” Or with his entire record as Speaker of the House of Representatives. You choose.
- Ron Paul: Supposedly the most “libertarian” figure in the GOP, but does not support personal liberties for women or gay people. Still thinks the Voting Rights Act was a bad idea and we were better off before FEMA.
- Jon Huntsman: The supposedly “moderate” candidate in the GOP field, enacted a highly regressive flat tax as governor of Utah, tried to eliminate corporate taxes, and banned second-trimester abortions.
- Michele Bachmann: Calls homosexuality “personal enslavement,” wants to reduce government to “its original size,” says those who believe the science of evolution are part of a “cult following.”
- Mitt Romney: Believes whatever the Republican base wants him to believe, which these days is pretty far off the rails.
- Rick Perry: Kicked off his presidential campaign by holding an event with the most extreme leaders of the Religious Right he could find, including a pastor who thinks that God sent Hitler to hunt the Jews and another who thinks that the Statue of Liberty is a “demonic idol.”
This is the field that the Party of Reagan has produced to appeal to a right-moving and increasingly isolated base — where the architect of health care reform has to run against himself, where the most libertarian still isn’t willing to cross the Religious Right, and where the highest-polling has floated the idea of his state seceding from the union.
