one time when i was in second grade we were going over letters and every day our teacher would make us sit down and say words that began with whatever thing we were learning and one day she made us list things that began with ‘y’ and the kid next to me raised his hand and said yu-gi-oh

she said that it wasnt a word and every kid in the class got mad at her and we kept fighting to get it up there but she kept saying no until the kid who raised his hand stood up and screamed “ITS TIME TO D-D-D-D-D-D-DUEL” and tackled her

we never saw him again
