Why did you decide to switch?

Being genderqueer isn’t a choice, it just happens. I happened to be a girl born in a boy’s body and it takes time to build up the courage to come out.

Does it bother you when people ask you these personal questions about your gender and sexuality?

It doesn’t bother me because I’m glad that they want to learn about it. It’s much better than just making assumptions about me or not accepting me at all. Not everyone is like that though, and there’s always a time and a place for those questions, so make sure you ask if it’s okay to pry before you start firing away. Also, be as polite as possible and don’t feel bad or anything if the person starts to tell you but decides that they’re too uncomfortable. It happens.

Have you or will you ever get a sex change?

I haven’t yet, nor am I taking any hormone pills yet. I’m not sure if I’ll get a sex change, but there’s a good chance of it happening. I’ll take hormone pills as soon as I have the money for them.
